FIRST AMERICANS MUSEUM

In September 1994, the Governor of Oklahoma signed legislation creating the Native American Cultural and Education Authority (NACEA).  The agency was authorized to construct, maintain, and operate the First Americans Museum (FAM) in the State of Oklahoma.  The concept for the museum is a place where Native Americans can tell their stories and share their experiences with the world on 300 acres in Oklahoma City.

RWA provided support to the program management team and the services they provide including site acquisition, team assembly, and design and construction oversight for the $175 million project.
